General provisions
- 1. The Privacy Policy of the Government Centre for Strategic Analysis establishes the basic principles and procedures for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data of visitors to the website www.strata.gov.lt (hereinafter referred to as the Website).
- 2. The Government Strategic Analysis Centre processes the personal data of the visitor of the Website in accordance with the following principles:
- 2.1. the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“the Regulation”);
- 2.2. the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania;
- 2.3. the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania;
- 2.4. other legal acts regulating the processing of personal data.
- 3. The term “personal data” as used in this Privacy Policy shall be understood as any information about a person – a visitor of the Website, whose identity can be directly or indirectly determined by identification, contact and other data.
- 4. The Website is managed and administered, and the personal data of its visitors is managed and processed by the Government Strategic Analysis Centre, legal entity code: 300845435.
Personal data and the purposes of their use
- 5. The Centre for Strategic Analysis of the Government processes the personal data of visitors to the Website for the following purposes:
- 5.1. to provide news, announcements, invitations to events, other information and to ask for opinions on the quality of services provided by the Government Strategic Analysis Centre (hereinafter referred to as the “Announcements”) subject to the consent of the visitor of the Website;
- 5.2. to identify, confirm, and record registrations for events organized by the Government Strategic Analysis Centre;
- 5.3. evaluate and improve the functionality of the Website.
- 6. The Government Strategic Analysis Centre processes the following personal data of visitors to the Website when:
- 6.1. the visitor of the Website submits himself/herself by visiting the Website and registering on it to receive communications from the Government Strategic Analysis Centre:
- 6.1.1. email address.

- 6.2. the visitor of the Website provides himself by visiting the Website and registering for the events of the Government Strategic Analysis Centre:
- 6.2.1. name, job title and position;
- 6.2.2. telephone number, email address.
- 6.3 The visitor to the Website indirectly provides data that is automatically collected when visiting the Website:
- 6.3.1. internet address (IP), time of visit to the Site, pages viewed on the Site, number of visits, region/country from which the Site is accessed;
- 6.3.2. the web browser and device used.
Cookies
- 7. To collect IP addresses and browsing information, the Government Centre for Strategic Analysis uses Cookies, which are small pieces of text information automatically generated when browsing the Site and stored on your computer or other terminal device.
- 8. Cookies are installed on the device of the Website visitor only with his/her consent, with the exception of cookies that are necessary exclusively for the technical operation of the Website. If the Website visitor does not give the Website the right to use cookies, some functions of the Website may not work partially or completely.
- 9. Cookies are set and used by Google analytics and Cognos analytics tools.
- 10. The visitor of the Website can manage and/or disable cookies at any time. Cookies can be deleted in two ways:

Data storage
- 11. The personal data used to send the Notifications shall be stored and processed for this purpose until the visitor to the Website withdraws his/her consent to subscribe to the notifications of the Government Strategic Analysis Centre.
- 12. Personal data automatically collected for the purposes of the functionality of the Website are used for data analysis for 2 years.
- 13. Personal data that are processed for event registration are stored for no longer than required by the purposes of the data processing or provided for by law.
Disclosure of personal data
- 14. The personal data of visitors to the Website is accessible to the employees of the Government Strategic Analysis Centre, who are responsible for the dissemination of the messages of the Government Strategic Analysis Centre, registration for events and the improvement of the Website.
- 15. Access to technical records shall be available to the partners of the Government Strategic Analysis Centre that provide hosting services for the Website.
- 16. The Government Strategic Analysis Centre may also provide personal data to third parties who perform audit and control functions and to others of which the visitor to the Website has been informed in advance.
Rights of the visitor to the Sites
- 17. The visitor of the Website may exercise the following rights by emailing :
- 17.1. to have access to the personal data processed;
- 17.2. to request rectification of personal data;
- 17.3. request the erasure of personal data;
- 17.4. withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
- 17.5. to restrict the processing of personal data (e.g. for a period of time during which the Government Centre for Strategic Analysis will assess whether the data subject has the right to request the erasure of personal data);
- 17.6. to request the transfer of the data.
- 18. If personal data is erased at the request of a visitor to the Website, the Government Strategic Analysis Centre will retain only copies of the information that is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of third parties, to comply with obligations of public authorities, to resolve disputes, to identify interferences or to enforce any agreements.
- 19. If a visitor to the website believes that his/her privacy rights have been violated, he/she may file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
- 20. As the services provided by the Centre for Strategic Analysis of the Government expand, the Centre for Strategic Analysis of the Government may update, unilaterally modify and/or supplement this Privacy Policy, and we therefore recommend that you periodically visit our website, where you will always find the latest version.
